Designing a trophy that captures the creative spirit in matter
We designed the trophy for the Star Reimagine Awards, which celebrate the creative minds behind the best IPL campaigns.
We explored several exciting forms and turned them into physical prototypes to understand how they feel in hand.
The client gravitated toward an otherworldly form that felt charged with creative fire. To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with London glass artist Peter Layton.
Hand blown glass gave the trophy the fluidity and luminosity it needed. We also created a BTS video to capture the intensity of the process.
The Reimagine Trophy was unveiled along with the behind the scenes film at the event, showcasing its design and craftsmanship. The chief guest MS Dhoni quipped, “I have never seen such a trophy. Can I keep it instead?” The coveted awards went to that year’s winners, Pidilite and Swiggy.
